Egonya...walhal dipilih oleh rakyat!

Sebelum baca entry ini, baca dulu Bila Menteri secara terbuka perlekehkan rakyat.

Ini komen Datuk Nazri Abd. Aziz, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, ketika ditanya pemberita di lobi Parlimen tentang demonstrasi mingguan memprotes kenaikan harga minyak:

“We don’t care what others say, we must enforce our laws [...] we might as well don’t have laws if we are not going to enforce them.”

“Even if you demonstrate 100 times, the government won’t reduce the price. You can demonstrate till the cows come home but the government won’t revise the decision.”

Ini pula sebagai menjawab keenganan wakil MTUC bertemu Menteri apabila hanya 5 orang sahaja wakil dibenarkan masuk ke Parlimen:

“Does the MTUC think they are very powerful and they can ignore laws [...] even the need to deal with a minister here?”

“What’s the difference between five and 10 representatives? Their refusal is a confrontational approach and the government will not bow to this pressure.”
